Esse artigo se produz com base em um diálogo entre duas práticas de pesquisa que utilizam narrativas e histórias, ainda que partindo de referenciais diferentes. Uma delas emprega a hermenêutica, a outra, o construcionismo social. Esse artigo se produz com base em um diálogo entre duas práticas de pesquisa que utilizam narrativas e histórias, ainda que partindo de referenciais diferentes. Uma delas emprega a hermenêutica, a outra, o construcionismo social. O artigo está organizado, na maior parte do texto, como um diálogo, em breves momentos como a apresentação de sínteses provisórias. Como parte integrante desta temática, a linguagem também passa a ser foco de atenção. A organização, dentro dessa nossa concepção, é tratada como uma construção discursiva, e o texto, como um processo em que os significados são emergentes, renegociados, dispersados. O objetivo aqui é sistematizar diferentes experiências de pesquisa que utilizam uma abordagem ainda pouco disseminada no cenário brasileiro dos estudos organizacionais, além de refletir sobre suas potencialidades. Considerações feitas pelo avaliador deste artigo foram tratadas também de modo dialógico, com a presença de mais uma voz, e constam ao longo do texto (apenas como recurso de inclusão) em trechos entre parênteses. ...
