Hipertextos multimodais no aprendizado colaborativo de língua estrangeira multimodal

Abstract

Este trabalho investiga como podem ocorrer processos de leitura e produção escrita colaborativa de textos em língua estrangeira, em contexto acadêmico, através de tecnologias digitais. Seguindo os estudos de Lévy (2007) e Gomes (2010) relativos a hipertextos, foi organizada uma geração de dados junto a alunos de graduação em Letras com nível intermediário de inglês. As tarefas consistiam na leitura e análise de hipertextos multimodais acadêmicos disponíveis na web na forma de apresentações gráficas, produção de novos hipertextos e análise desses materiais produzidos pelos colegas participantes da pesquisa. Observou-se que os graduandos conseguiram explorar o ambiente digital e o leque de possibilidades que o hipertexto proporciona, enquanto utilizavam a língua estrangeira para mediar suas interações.

This work explores how the processes of reading and collaborative writing in a foreign language can occur in academic context through the use of digital technologies. Following studies by Lévy (2007) and Gomes (2010) concerning hypertexts, a data generation was organized with undergraduate students in Languages who had intermediate level of English. The tasks involved reading and analysis of academic multimodal hypertexts available on the web as graphic presentations, production of new hypertexts and analysis of materials produced by peers who were participating in the research. It was observed that those undergraduate students were able to explore the digital environment and the range of possibilities the hypertext provides while they used the foreign language to mediate their interactions.
