Diversas empresas da construção civil estão introduzindo novos mecanismos para otimizar a sua produção, desta forma, a utilização de projetores mecânicos para a aplicação do revestimento de argamassa pode ser uma forma de aumentar a racionalização, diminuir a dependência da mão de obra e, portanto, a variabilidade da produção. Nesse contexto, surge a necessidade de conhecer a influência dos fatores que exercem variabilidade no processo produtivo e consequentemente, alterações no desempenho dos revestimentos. Buscando compreender melhor o desempenho das diferentes formas de aplicação, este trabalho visa avaliar a resistência de aderência à tração em revestimentos de argamassa aplicados com projeção mecânica contínua e manualmente. Para isso, foram analisadas duas paredes em obra, uma revestida com argamassa projetada e outra com aplicação manual. A parede que recebeu acabamento projetado, armazenava a argamassa seca em silos, a outra parede recebeu revestimento aplicado manualmente armazenava a argamassa de múltiplo uso em sacos. É importante ressaltar que a obra fez uso de duas argamassas amplamente comercializadas no mercado da região metropolitana de Porto Alegre/RS e dois métodos de aplicação de revestimento utilizando cada qual a argamassa específica para a sua finalidade. Estes revestimentos foram avaliados quanto à influência das propriedades reológicas das argamassas e a influência da posição de aplicação na parede, do ponto de vista de altura, na resistência de aderência à tração. Através de análise de variância (ANOVA) dos resultados obtidos, verificou-se que as diferentes alturas de aplicação da argamassa não foram estatisticamente significativas. Além disso, a forma de aplicação da argamassa influenciou significativamente nos valores de resistência de aderência à tração obtidos. Foi possível observar que n a parede que recebeu projeção mecânica, todos os corpos de prova atenderam a resistência de aderência mínima exigida por norma, por outro lado, a parede que recebeu revestimento aplicado manualmente apresentou 21,57% dos corpos de prova com valores de resistência de aderência inferiores aos mínimos estabelecidos pela norma, com maior variabilidade de desempenho dos mesmos. Além disso, através da análise visual dos corpos de prova extraídos da parede que recebeu projeção manual, foi possível observar uma maior presença de vazios na interface. ...
