Através de uma revisão bibliográfica, este trabalho investigou a subjetivação feminina e sua ligação com a melancolia. Através de uma revisão bibliográfica, este trabalho investigou a subjetivação feminina e sua ligação com a melancolia. Um diálogo com a obra literária de Simone de Beauvoir, “As mulheres desiludidas”, se faz pertinente, pois, através da experiência da narrativa, podem-se levantar questões acerca do enlaçamento entre teoria e arte. Num primeiro momento, pretendeu-se discutir as relações entre literatura e psicanálise, o que é possível ser dito, vivenciado através da narrativa, tendo o narrador como mediador. Num segundo momento, visou-se conceituar o feminino na obra de Freud, buscando um entendimento histórico desse conceito. Num terceiro momento, trabalhou-se o que se entende por melancolia na teoria psicanalítica.
