Abstract
In this work we describe the proton-proton and antiproton-proton elastic scattering at high energies by means of two analytic models. These models are characterized by analytical parametrizations for the forward amplitudes and the use of dispersion relation techniques to study the total cross section tot and the parameter (the ratio between the real and imaginary parts of the forward amplitude). In our analysis we use the single Pomeron and the maximal Odderon parametrizations for the total cro ...
In our analysis we use the single Pomeron and the maximal Odderon parametrizations for the total cross section. We carry out global fits to all high-energy forward data, namely tot and , and investigate the effect of the recent LHC data on the Pomeron and Odderon parameters. ...
