A técnica de solo artificialmente cimentado reforçado com fibras surgiu como uma alternativa de projeto para solucionar problemas de solos que não atendam às necessidades de solicitações impostas. Esta técnica possui diversas aplicações, tais como, resistir a solicitações cíclicas, principalmente na construção de pavimentos, reforço em áreas suscetíveis a sismos e fundações de estruturas costeiras. Nesse sentido, este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito da inclusão de fibras de polipropileno em uma areia artificialmente cimentada, perante a carregamentos cíclicos. Assim, através de ensaios cíclicos de compressão diametral, foi avaliada a vida de fadiga do compósito, fazendo correlações com a deformação radial final (εr) e com a relação porosidade e teor de cimento (η/ Civ). Finalmente, foi feita uma análise comparativa com os resultados obtidos por Venson (2015), do comportamento de um mesmo tipo de solo, mas sem inclusão de fibras diante solicitações cíclicas. ...
