The aim of the paper is to present review of quantitative and qualitative research conducted in Australia, Canada and the UK about the pharmacist’s perceptions about adoption prescription. We admit articles published between 2005 to 2015, in English, Portuguese and Spanish. On the basis that admitted the filtered resource "human". In the first search identified 377 articles, which, after applying the exclusion criteria, resulted in 12 to compose the review articles. Three studies from Canada, four from Australia and five from the UK were included. In general and despite the difficulties in implementing the pharmaceutical, these countries are in favor of prescription pharmaceuticals, but preferences for prescription model vary in relation to the area where they act as p. eg., community pharmacy and hospital. Pharmacists believe that prescription pharmaceuticals increases job satisfaction, raises the status of the profession and improve the use of skills, which are generally underused. In conclusion, it is believed that Brazilian studies, similar to those conducted in these countries, should be planned to meet the perception of pharmacists on prescription pharmaceuticals. ...
