Águas que cintilam memória: reflexões em torno das pinturas de paisagens da Pinacoteca Municipal de Porto Alegre Aldo Locatelli

Abstract

Este trabalho propõe um levantamento das obras das pinturas da Pinacoteca Aldo Locatelli que retratam o lago Guaíba, identificando seus autores, seu conteúdo e as demais informações relacionadas, considerando o conceito de Paisagem Cultural. A Pinacoteca Aldo Locatelli tem caráter municipal e está localizada na Praça Montevidéu, no Centro Histórico de Porto Alegre. A seleção desta instituição e de suas obras ocorreu pela sua importância à cidade de Porto Alegre, por ser um dos acervos municipais. Com isso, este trabalho tem o objetivo de estudar 19 pinturas, a partir do conceito de objeto de museu, considerando não apenas o aspecto artístico, mas também museológico. Considera o conceito de Paisagem Cultural, como base para a pesquisa, a fim de estabelecer relações entre a orla e os quadros enquanto produto artístico. Para a sua realização foi utilizada a abordagem qualitativa, através de levantamento bibliográfico, descrição dos objetos e elaboração de relações entre as fontes pesquisadas e as características dos quadros enquanto objetos de museu, elaborando um conjunto de quadros de análise com as 19 obras selecionadas. Conclui que há relações entre os artistas e a escolha do que retratam, bem como há relações entre o conceito de Paisagem Cultural e as obras.

This work proposes a survey of the paintings of Pinacoteca Aldo Locatelli that portray Lake Guaíba, identifying its authors, their content and more related information, considering the concept of Cultural Landscape. Pinacoteca Aldo Locatelli has a municipal character and it is located in Montevideo Square, Historic Center of Porto Alegre. The selection of this institution and its collection occurred for its significance to the city of Porto Alegre, for being one of the municipal collections. Thereby, this work has the objective of studying 19 paintings, from the concept of museum object, the concept not only of the artistic aspect, but also museum aspect. It considers the concept of Cultural Landscape, as base for this research, with the view of establish relations between the lakeside and the paintings as artistic product. For its realization it was used a qualitative approach, through a bibliographical survey, description of the objects and elaboration of relations between the sources researched and the characteristics of the paintings while museum objects, elaborating a set of frames of analysis with the 19 selected works. Concludes that there are relationships between artists and their choice of what they portray, as well there are relationships between the concept of Cultural Landscape and the paintings.
