O objetivo geral deste trabalho é compreender a dimensão humana da comunicação organizacional e sua relevância como espaço de diálogo e construção de significados em uma organização hospitalar. O referencial teórico, construído a partir de pesquisa bibliográfica, reflete sobre comunicação organizacional, o indivíduo e as relações de trabalho, endomarketing, relacionamento entre organização e públicos e, principalmente, sobre a humanização na comunicação. Estão presentes no estudo as particularidades da comunicação organizacional em um hospital, a fim de embasar a pesquisa empírica realizada. O corpus de pesquisa foi coletado através de observação direta e participante, além de documentos disponibilizados pelo hospital de Porto Alegre, onde se desenvolveu a análise desta pesquisa. Sendo assim, foi realizado um estudo de caso, que permitiu relacionar as perspectivas teóricas com três campanhas realizadas ou iniciadas entre dezembro de 2015 e maio de 2016, pela organização hospitalar para os funcionários da instituição. O recorte empírico analisado evidencia a humanização na comunicação organizacional, com base em criação de vínculos e na manutenção de um bom relacionamento entre funcionário e organização. ...
