O presente trabalho pretende debater os motivos que levam o homem a destruir documentos em épocas de conflito. Documentos são materiais de memória importantíssimos que reforçam a memória coletiva de um povo. Destrui-los é enfraquecer o elo da memória que é comum a todos indivíduos de uma comunidade. This paper aims to discuss the reasons that lead a man to destroy documents in times of conflict. Documents are materials of memory that reinforce the collective memory of a people.
