O basquetebol no contraturno escolar : uma opção de lazer?

Abstract

O lazer passou a ser estudado ainda mais aos longos dos anos, com a conquista dos direitos trabalhistas, as pessoas começaram a ter mais tempo livre. Diversos autores dedicaram seu tempo a entender o que as pessoas estavam fazendo em seu tempo livre. A escola se tornou um espaço propicio para alunos usufruírem de seu lazer, pois oferece atividades de contraturno, no qual o aluno pode escolher livremente aquela que encaixa melhor no seu perfil. A partir da apropriação de um espaço de um grupo de meninas para treinar basquetebol no contraturno, o objetivo da pesquisa é analisar se o momento do basquetebol no contraturno é uma prática de lazer para esse grupo de meninas e se essa atividade representa uma apropriação da escola para o lazer. Para fazer tal análise, construímos um questionário aberto, no qual as meninas deveriam responder as afirmações em forma de redação. Foram 3 afirmações, e para cada afirmação, foi orientado que respondessem pelo menos 12 linhas. Após analisar as respostas, separamos em três grandes grupos, e dentro de cada grupo, em diferentes categorias. Em conclusão, o espaço que as meninas conquistaram, é um lugar de aprendizagem, onde o interesse no esporte e a identificação fazem parte da motivação delas. Apesar de a aprendizagem ser um dos objetivos para participar dos treinos de basquetebol, a rede de sociabilidade através do grupo de amizade que se desenvolveu entre as meninas, também é um atrativo para que continuem o basquetebol no contraturno escolar como seu lazer.

Leisure began to be studied deeper throughout the years, with the conquest of labor rights, people began to have more free time. Several authors have devoted themselves to understand what people were doing in their spare time. School has become an enabling space for students to enjoy their leisure as it offers extracurricular activities in which each student can freely choose the one that fits best to his profile. From the appropriation of an area for a group of girls to practice basketball in the extracurricular activities, the research objective is to analyze whether the moment of basketball in the extracurricular activities is a leisure practice for this group of girls and if this activity is a school appropriation for leisure. In order to make this analysis, we have built an open questionnaire in which the girls concerned should answer the claims in the form of a writing. There were 3 statements, and for each statement, it was instructed them to answer at least 12 lines. After reviewing the responses, we split them into three groups, and within each group in different categories. In conclusion, the space that the girls have acquired is a place of learning, where the interest in the sport and identification with the others are part of their motivation. Although learning is an objective to participate in basketball training, the social network formed from the friendship group that has developed among the girls is also an attraction to continue practicing basketball after school as their leisure.
