O PRONAF e o acesso da agricultura familiar ao programa no município de Picada Café

Abstract

Este estudo aborda o acesso pelos agricultores familiares de Picada Café ao Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar (PRONAF) e a forma como a agricultura familiar se estruturou com os incentivos dessa política pública. Assim, serão apresentados os dados do PRONAF em Picada Café entre os anos de 2009 e 2014. A metodologia usada constitui-se de um levantamento de dados bibliográficos e aplicação de entrevistas semiestruturadas à agricultores familiares de Picada Café e ao extensionista rural da empresa de assistência técnica no município, com enfoque na relação entre a agricultura familiar e o PRONAF no município. Dados apresentados em tabelas caracterizam a agricultura familiar e o PRONAF, além de caracterizar a situação da agricultura familiar no município de Picada Café. Ademais, as descrições apresentadas através da análise dos resultados foram satisfatórias, pois o PRONAF conseguiu estruturar, fortalecer e manter muitas famílias na atividade agrícola.

This study addresses the access of farmers of Picada Café at the National Program to Strengthen Family Agriculture (PRONAF) and how the family farm was structured with incentives this public policy. So, we will present the PRONAF data in Picada Café between the years 2009 and 2014. The methodology used consisted of a survey of bibliographic data and application of semi-structured interviews with farmers the Picada Café and rural extension of the service company in the city, focusing on the relationship between family farming and the PRONAF in the city. Data presented in tables featuring the family farms and the PRONAF, besides characterizing the situation of family agriculture in the municipality called Picada Café. In addition, the descriptions given by analyzing the results were satisfactory, as the PRONAF managed structure, strengthen and keep many families in agriculture.
