Abstract in Portuguese (Brasil)
Neste artigo, discutimos o estatuto prosódico e morfológico de palavras prefi xadas em português brasileiro, numa perspectiva de restrições. Defendemos a hipótese de que prefi xos se organizam em três tipos de confi guração prosódica: incorporados, adjuntos ou compostos à base a que se ligam. A partir dos processos de ressilabação, vozeamento intervocálico, epêntese e assimilação da nasal, sustentamos a idéia de que o alinhamento entre categorias prosódicas e certas condições de estruturação da ...

Abstract
In this paper, we discuss the prosodic and morphologic status of Brazilian Portuguese prefi xed words in a constraint-based approach. We defend that prefi xes can be attached to their prosodic bases by composition, adjunction or incorporation. Considering evidences from processes like resyllabifi cation, intervocalic voicing, epenthesis, and nasal assimilation, we propose that the alignment between prosody and morphology and some syllable structure constraints are higher ranked than constraints ...

Considering evidences from processes like resyllabifi cation, intervocalic voicing, epenthesis, and nasal assimilation, we propose that the alignment between prosody and morphology and some syllable structure constraints are higher ranked than constraints referring to prosodic word dominance, such as exhaustiveness and nonrecursiveness. ...
