Este trabalho é uma proposta para avaliar a relação custo-benefício das ações de treinamento e desenvolvimento realizadas no período de 2001 a 2005 com os servidores do Núcleo Estadual do Ministério da Saúde no Rio Grande do Sul. Realizou-se um perfil através da coleta de dados referentes a cargo, matrícula, idade e tempo de lotação. Análise documental referente à contratação de vagas para cursos e treinamentos, aquisição e/ou locação de equipamentos, despesas com diárias e passagens aéreas, com salários dos servidores foram empregados para calcular os custos dos treinamentos. Para saber se as ações de treinamento e desenvolvimento têm proporcionado conhecimentos que geram melhorias nas práticas dos servidores aplicamos uma pesquisa junto a estes, para conhecer a percepção que possuíam sobre as capacitações que participaram e os conhecimentos adquiridos destas. Concluímos que os servidores estão interessados em participar de ações de treinamento para adquirir conhecimentos que melhorem o desempenho de suas atividades e práticas e que o custo per capita tem aumentado nos últimos anos. ...
