In this thesis, I analyze the ways in which the curriculum for the degree in Physical Education from the State University of Mato Grosso articulates itself with contemporary educational policies of gender and sexual diversity. To this end, I have mobilized the theoretical and methodological fields of cultural, gender and sexuality studies under a post-structuralist perspective, seeking to understand and question the modes of production of this curriculum, specifically during the supervised internships in high schools, which happen in the last semester of the course. To produce the corpus of this research, I have used two different methodological procedures: the examination of the degree course documents, such as the political pedagogical project, the teaching plans and the internship reports of the 2011 school year; and conducting interviews with twelve (12) teachers that formed these groups in 2011. The analysis, conducted from the perspective of cultural analysis, allowed me to point that the binding ways of this curriculum used in the formation of teachers in Physical Education with the propositions from educational policies of gender and sexual diversity texts are not as direct as one would expect, but through orientations from contemporary Brazilian educational policies, among which I would highlight the inclusion processes directed at a large ensemble of social groups, amongst them women and LGBT population. At the same time, some traditional discourses of Physical Education produce a 'silencing' about the multiple possibilities of living sexuality and gender. During the internships, arguments like the ones that tell us we should not separate the students, we should not discriminate, that we should include coexist with others that say it is not good for students of different genders to join in class because of differences in ability and strength and/or due to the risks of 'uncontrolled' sexuality, and may be taken therefore as effects of discursive practices - which constitute and are constituted by discourses of diversity and difference - in which the notions of respect that constitute the policies of inclusion and diversity are articulated.en
