| pt_BR |
dc.description.abstract | Tragedy might be understood as a genre summoning up different historical ways of thinking:diverse stages of muthos and logos. This paper unravels how a break with ancient religious beliefs takes place through some feminine tragic figures. It is not easy to imagine a world in which religious and scientific, social and political domains were not separate. Still harder is to imagine the development of intelligence and cognitive merits of women who lived under the shadow of men and were almost excluded from the public domain. This article helps to understand innovating modulations of this basic imaginary structure. | en |
