Abstract in Portuguese

In engineering practice there are a lot of problems related to free-surface flow, like flows with bottom obstacles, separation and waves, among others. In the present work, derived from Navier-Stokes and Continuity Equations, a code was developed with semi-implicit finite differences equations in order to simulate non-hydrostatic pressure approximation free-surface flows. The numerical treatment is performed with split time step into two substeps: at the first velocities and free-surface are calculated with hydrostatic pressure condition and at the second substep dynamic pressure is calculated and the velocities and free-surface are corrected. This code was verified with analytical and numerical cases and validated with experimental cases results. Furthermore, this code was applied to a hypothetical case which represents a marine outfall case. The non-hydrostatic pressure consideration are very important for the adjustment of the results with the experimental and analytical data. ...
