“Parece história de novela” : a construção da própria história na busca por familiares biológicos

Abstract

Este trabalho foi construído a partir das questões levantadas no encontro com pessoas adotivas que buscavam suas famílias de origem. A proposta foi escutar suas histórias e compreender o que as leva a buscar essas famílias. Assim, o objetivo da pesquisa foi pensar, por meio da escuta, o que leva os sujeitos a buscarem suas famílias de origem e a história verdadeira, e compreender como narram os enredos familiares, lidando com lacunas, silenciamentos e apagamentos nos registros oficiais e nas memórias. Trata-se de uma pesquisa psicanalítica. Como operador metodológico, utilizou-se da hibridez proposta por Ayouch (2021), que busca uma articulação da psicanálise com outros campos do saber. Para a coleta de dados, utilizamos entrevistas clínicas com quatro mulheres que estavam ativamente envolvidas na busca pela família biológica. Compreende-se que a escuta e a transferência no contexto da pesquisa permitiram que as participantes compartilhassem suas histórias, enfrentando tanto resistência quanto alívio. Durante as entrevistas, as participantes trouxeram questões sobre famílias, tanto a respeito de como imaginavam suas famílias biológicas, como as famílias que efetivamente tiveram. Mostrando que a busca por parentes biológicos vai além do desejo de reencontrar os genitores, abordando também questões sobre os diferentes tipos de parentalidade. Além disso, foi possível identificar aspectos sociais, culturais e raciais que atravessam seus discursos, revelando as marcas históricas que influenciam a construção de suas identidades e relações familiares. As narrativas apontaram que o conceito de família é múltiplo e que a busca por familiares biológicos pode estar relacionada a um ideal social de família, ao mesmo tempo que as participantes reconhecem e valorizam os vínculos familiares construídos. Ainda, a busca também parece ser por uma história possível. Cada uma, de forma única, tenta (re)construir suas histórias, apesar das incertezas e fragmentos elas narram e produzem sentidos para si.

This study was developed based on the questions raised during encounters with adoptees seeking their biological families. The goal was to listen to their stories and understand what motivates them to search for these families. Therefore, the objective of this research was to reflect, through listening, on what leads individuals to search for their biological families and the true story, and to understand how they narrate family plots, dealing with gaps, silences, and erasures in official records and family memories. This is a psychoanalytic investigation. The methodological approach employed the hybridity proposed by Ayouch (2021), which integrates psychoanalysis with other domains of knowledge. Clinical interviews were conducted with four women actively involved in the search for their biological families. The listening process and transferential dynamics within the research context allowed participants to share their narratives, confronting both resistance and relief. Throughout the interviews, participants discussed issues related to families, both in terms of how they imagined their biological families and the families they actually had. This demonstrated that the search for biological relatives goes beyond the desire to reunite with biological parents, addressing the complexities of various forms of parenthood. Additionally, social, cultural, and racial aspects were identified within their discourses, revealing historical imprints that influence the construction of their identities and family relationships. The narratives highlighted that the concept of family is multifaceted, and the search for biological relatives may be tied to a socially constructed ideal of family, while participants also recognize and value the familial bonds they have built. Furthermore, the search seems to be an attempt to create a coherent narrative of self. Each participant, in her own unique way, seeks to (re)construct her history, and despite uncertainties and fragments, she narrates and ascribes meaning to her life.
