Estágios remotos durante a pandemia de Covid-19: relato de experiência

Abstract

O início da Pandemia do Covid-19 levou à Biblioteca da Faculdade de Biblioteconomia e Comunicação da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Fabico / UFRGS) a repensar a estrutura do estágio curricular obrigatório. As restrições sociais obrigatórias levaram à criação de opções alternativas aos estágios obrigatórios presenciais. Como algumas dessas opções, inclui-se atividades remotas, uma ideia nova, para a Biblioteca, que precisava ser desenvolvida e implementada rapidamente. As incógnitas de um mundo pós-Covid deixam em aberto várias possibilidades de serviços humanos para o futuro. Este relato de experiência apresenta o que a Biblioteca aprendeu sobre estágios remotos, incluindo pontos fortes, desafios e recomendações.

The beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic led the Library of the Faculdade de Biblioteconomia e Comunicação da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Fabico/ UFRGS) to rethink the structure of the mandatory curricular internship. Mandatory social restrictions have led to the creation of alternative options to mandatory face-to-face internships. As some of these options, remote activities were included, a new idea for the Library, which needed to be developed and implemented quickly. The unknowns of a post-Covid world leave open several possibilities for human services for the future. This experience report presents what the Library has learned about remote stages, including strengths, challenges and recommendations.
