Mídia e artes da existência : para pensar imaginários em excesso

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta algumas indagações a respeito das relações entre mídia, experiência e arte, a partir de pensadores como Zygmunt Bauman, Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Marilena Chauí e Slavoj Zizek. Problematiza as possibilidades que teriam os profissionais ou aprendizes da arte e da educação de pensar sobre estratégias de transcendência, de ultrapassagem dos modos instituídos de existência, neste tempo de infinitas possibilidades de produção e circulação de sons, imagens, textos, particularmente nos espaços da grande mídia. As questões tratadas referem-se ao enfrentamento imaginativo diante do convite cotidiano à proliferação de clichês, à ausência de pensamento e à negação da experiência.

In this article I discuss some issues conceming the relationship between media, experience and art, based on the work of academics such as Zygmunt Bauman, Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Marilena Chauí and Slavoj Zizek. I problematize the possibilities that art and education have to think about strategies for transcending, for breaking out of the instituted modes of existence in a time o f infinite possibilities o f production and circulation of sounds, images, texts, particularly in the spaces of the large media. The issues discussed are related to the imaginative struggle in view of the daily appeals of the proliferation of clichés, the absence of thought and the negation of experience.
